Looking for golf courses in Las Vegas? You've come to the right place.
Vegas is mostly associated known for its neon lights and bustling casinos, but for a city built with entertainment in mind, there are plenty of golf courses near Las Vegas to distract you.
The self-proclaimed ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’ seems an ideal stop for the third installment of our ‘Best Golf Courses’ series.
As a compilation of Las Vegas Golf Courses, and those in the surrounding area, this list will hopefully have something for every golfer.
Wynn Golf Club
Being the only golf course in Las Vegas on the main strip, Wynn Golf Club may be the most central offering on our list, but its sizeable price tag means it is one of most lightly played. Designed by Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn, this 7,042 yard par 70 test offers up 18 beautiful and challenging holes, all set within the grounds of the exceptional Wynn Country Club.
Pine trees and shrubbery all blend perfectly with awesome water features which adorn 11 holes on the golf course – the best of which is a waterfall which amplifies the magnificent scenery on the last.
Money no object? The Wynn Golf club is definitely THE golf course in Las Vegas that's not to be missed.
Cascata Golf Course
Less than 50 kilometres from the main strip in Las Vegas you will find Boulder City, home to the magnificent Cascata golf course.
If you don't mind a little bit of a drive, you'll be rewarded with one of the best golf courses in the Las Vegas area and Southwest region.
Regularly voted as one of the top 3 golf courses in Nevada, this mountainside par 72 course has stunning views at every turn.
Coyote Springs Golf Club
Situated Northeast of Las Vegas, the golf course at Coyote Springs presents as scenic and challenging a golfing test as you are likely to find in the entire region.
Terrifyingly fast greens mean that accurate approach shots are imperative. Sudden gusts of wind can play havoc with ball flight and wreck your scorecard.
If you're wanting a straightforward, gale free round on a golf course near Las Vegas then Coyote Springs may not be for you. But, if you're looking for a Las Vegas Golf course with a bit of bite then this is one not to be missed.
TPC Las Vegas Golf Course
A golf course elegantly designed by Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd, TPC Las Vegas lies a mere fifteen-minute drive from the Strip. The Vegas skyline is visible on quite a few holes, while the back nine is graced with the beautiful backdrop of the Red Rock Canyon.
Having been host to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children Open up to 2006, and the Las Vegas Senior Classic, some of the world’s very best golfers have walked these fairways over the years.
Arguably the most challenging golf course in Las Las Vegas, this par 71, 7,104 yard golf course provides championship standard playing conditions.
Wolf Creek Golf Club
Located in Misquite, Nevada, Wolf Creek is a spectacular golf course that should appeal to most of our Hole19 community, not least due to its breathtaking views and exemplary golf course conditions.
It is one of the farthest courses from Las Vegas but, if you are willing to take a ride along interstate 15, golfing excellence awaits. The course features elevated tees and elevated greens with plunging descents to fairways in between.
As one of the least forgiving golf courses on our list, get out of position at your peril.
Las Vegas Paiute (Wolf Course)
Possibly the best of the three golf courses designed by Pete Dye at Paiute Golf Resort, the Wolf course plays over 7,600 yards making it the longest in the whole of Nevada.
The mountainous backdrop helps provide astonishing panoramic views, while exceptional care is taken to ensure the best possible daily conditions – hardly a surprise that it is regularly voted within the top 3 courses in Nevada.
Bear’s Best Golf Course - Las Vegas
In creating Bear’s Best golf course, the great Jack Nicklaus has dug deep into his collection of 200 course designs worldwide to choose his favourite 18 holes.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that taking the best individual holes from multiple venues ruins the flow of a golf course. This eclectic mix of the Golden Bear’s finest creations provides a spectacular round of golf in its own right.

Royal Links Golf Club
A golf course that promises the ‘soul of Scotland’ mixed with the ‘entertainment of Las Vegas’ sounds quite a tantalising prospect. Royal Links seeks to bring the stand-out holes of 11 separate Open venues to life – and its golf course achieves just that.
Not just one of the most unique golf courses in Las Vegas, but probably the world too.
There are so many golf courses to choose from in the Las Vegas area but, then, would we really expect anything else from the land of excess?
