Now, this is an interesting one. Most golfers (not all) will be familiar with the differences between a cavity back iron and a bladed iron.

Aside from the aesthetics, cavity back irons are generally more forgiving and easier to use; which is why they're often the tool of choice for improving golfers. Bladed/forged irons are tougher to use but provide superior feel and a bit more control, that's why all the top pros use them.
