adidas golf 2020 showcase
adidas are one of the biggest sportswear companies in the world and have been invested in the game of golf for a long time. They are constantly bringing out the latest technologies to keep you looking good, feeling good and performing well. But they are also looking at wider global problems such as plastic waste and coming up with innovative ideas of how they can turn waste into clothing, and new for 2020 is the introduction of PrimeBlue.
"Plastic waste is a problem - and it has reached a tipping point. For every person on the planet, there is one tonne of plastic and nearly 80% has become plastic waste wreaking havoc on the oceans around the world."
Hole19 have picked some of the best pieces we have seen from this year's collection so far and thought we would give you some more information on them.
Adidas golf jumper - Sport Primeknit Sweatshirt - £109.95
This is probably our favourite piece in the showcase, and something you would feel comfortable wearing both on and off the course. It has been made using adidas signature Primeknit fabrication, which provides premium comfort and breathability to keep you cool and dry on the inside, whilst still keeping you warm and protected from the cool conditions. We also love the detailing with the three stripes branding down the right shoulder too.
S2G adidas Golf shoe - £85
New for 2020, adidas have brought out a newly designed lightweight spikeless golf shoe. The S2G is designed to keep your feet dry in a lightweight and comfortable shoe - perfect for those early morning starts on the links. Bounce cushioning offers you extra comfort and with the V-traxion sole, you will have great grip on the fairways. We love the fact that these shoes will look great with both shorts and trousers.
3 stripes basic polo shirt - £34.95
A simple yet essential piece to every golfer’s wardrobe, a basic white polo, but this one is made from recycled plastics without compromising on the fit or the performance. A simple 3 button polo with traditional adidas 3 striped branding on the right sleeve.
Ultimate 365 3 stripes tapered trousers - £54.95
The adidas 365 trousers have been a favourite of ours since they came out. Trousers may not always be the first piece of clothing you would normally get excited about buying, but the adidas 365 3 stripes trousers are the most comfortable golf trouser we have worn. With their moisture absorbing stretch fabric, it allows you to bend and move freely and comfortably. Coming with a silicon gripper tape waistband, it always ensures your shirt stays tucked in.
