Oitavos Dunes Golf Club

About one hour outside of Lisbon is the
Oitavos Dunes - ranked 58th on the list in Golf magazines 'Top 100' in 2015, it's widely regarded as one of the top courses in the world. At close to 7000 yards, this pristine 72 par course is blessed with stunning coastal views and a layout that is a delight just to walk around.

Quinta do Peru Golf Course

Golf World Magazine rated it amongst the 'Top 100 courses in Continental Europe' for good reason - without a doubt, it's one of the best golf courses in the Lisbon area. With its fast rolling greens and tricky bunker positions, this 6,624 yard par 72 parkland course is a stunning test for any golfer. If you're looking for a golf course near Lisbon,

Belas Clube de Campo Golf Course

Belas Clube de Campo is a favourite amongst Hole19 community members and employees alike. Situated just 20 minutes outside of Lisbon it's very easy to get to and offers an undulating challenge for golfers of all abilities. At 6,680 yards it doesnt need you to be the longest off the tee, but with tight fairways lined with out-of-bounds markers you will need to be pretty darn accurate.
If you're after a great golfing experience with minimum travel required,
Belas Clube de Campo is a sound option for you.
Aroeira I and Aroeira II golf course

A beautiful and unique resort just 25km outside of Lisbon. Opened in the 70's,
Aroeira I was dubbed "the Wentworth of Lisbon" by UK journalists. It's 6,650 yard expanse is set amongst nature and played through tree-lined fairways - you'll need your driving 'A-game' with you for this one.
Aroeira II may be the younger sibling of the two golf courses but that doesn't make it any less formidable. Designed to high European Tour standards and with the threat of water on no fewer than 9 holes, it's a real test.

Penha Longa Golf Club
Take a drive for just 35 minutes from Lisbon and you'll reach this stunning coastal course. With picturesque views of Cascais and Estoril and lush greenery, it's little wonder it's so highly regarded amongst Hole19 community members. The course has been designed to intrigue and excite and it does that from tee to green, from hole 1 to hole 18. Penha Longa.
Ribagolfe I and Ribagolfe II golf course

Once compared with Valderrama, **Ribagolfe I** is without a doubt one of the top golf courses near Lisbon. At 7,370 yards in length (from the black tees) its narrow fairways demand distance as well as accuracy. Whilst slightly shorter at 6,800 yards, **Ribagolfe II** is a more forgiving proposition but remains equally as appealing as its larger sibling.
Located just 40 minutes outside of the city, Ribagolfe is another one of the highly recommended golf courses in the Lisbon area.
