The Perfect Romantic City Spot

Take a stroll through the city up to Bairro Alto at dusk. You'll have to take on a few staircases to get there, but you'll be rewarded with a stunning evening view that looks across the city up to the castle. Alternatively, you could head down to the riverfront and take an easy sunset stroll along the Tagus and enjoy a pit stop or two at the numerous bars and eateries along its banks.

Just half an hour outside of Lisbon City Centre is the picturesque, verdant area of Sintra. With historic buildings and beautiful woodland to meander your way through, it's a beautifully inspiring place for the creative-minded.

Back to Lisbon City and to one of it's oldest areas, Alfama. As one of the only areas to survive the 1755 earthquake that hit Lisbon, it has retained some truly remarkable, original architectural features.
