Eric Cogorno: How the Right Shoulder Works in the Golf Swing

Understanding how your right shoulder works in the golf swing is very important to help you shallow your downswing and to ensure you don't come over the top.

Right/trail shoulder movement in the golf swing is directly related to what your clubface is doing in the downswing. If your clubface is open, your trail shoulder is likely to be pretty high or more level. If your clubface is more square coming into impact, you'll end up with a low right shoulder through impact and beyond.
