Our Favourite Golf Celebrations

There's nothing we love more at Hole19 HQ than a wonderfully passionate golfing celebration. We all love the game (most of the time) and, without doubt, love watching others get real joy from it too.

Playing golf exposes you to a whole range of emotions. While it can be a little funny at times watching a pro golfer consumed by anger at the little white ball refusing to go into the little hole (it's happened to us all, right?), there's something altogether more enjoyable about watching a display of pure, unbridled joy on the golf course.

We got chatting about our favourite celebrations down the years and there were a few that came up time and again. Without further ado, here's our own list of the 'greatest golf celebrations' below:

Miguel Angel Jiménez

There are so many examples of great celebrations by Miguel; he's just one cool guy.

We like the dance moves he pulled back at the 2014 Lyoness Open after holing out for eagle:

But then, no Jiménez celebration reel would be complete without the appearance of his imaginary swordplay. He broke the record for holes-in-one at the 2015 Open de Espana and celebrated like this...

Tiger Woods - 2005 Masters

You know the shot and you very likely remember the celebration. On his way to the 2005 Masters and his fourth 'Green Jacket', Tiger Woods pulled off a truly awesome chip shot from long and left. Check out his reaction below - just spine-tingling:

Jordan Spieth & Michael Greller - 2017 Travelers Championship

Probably the most memorable celebration from the 2017 calendar year of golf - for us anyway - was the bunker hole-out by Jordan Spieth during a playoff with Daniel Berger at the Travelers Championship.

Both he and caddie Michael Greller pulled off a flying chest-bump with such perfect synchronicity - we loved it:

Bubba the 'Blubba' - 2012 Masters

Bubba Watson is well known for being a player who isn't too afraid to show his emotions on the golf course and he did just that after his amazing playoff win at the 2012 Masters.

Sealing the win after a stunning 'banana shot' from deep in the trees, Bubba reacted to his win by descending into floods of tears in an embrace with his caddie.

He was just as emotional reminiscing five years later...

James Hahn - 2013 Waste Management Phoenix Open

The whole 'Gangnam Style' thing may be a little five years ago, but then so is this clip of James Hahn celebrating a 19-foot birdie at the 2013 Waste Management Pheonix Open. It always raises a smile in the office...

Phil Mickelson & Kevin Kisner _ Presidents Cup

Probably the strangest entry to our list but the impromptu rendition of the 'Three Amigos' dance on the 18th green during their Presidents Cup match last year has to make it for the sheer fun element. Perhaps a little weird too though.

Just compiling this list has reminded us of so many others which could have made it. Which golfing celebrations will live long in your memory? Let us know below.
