Everyone's different. Amongst the golfers here at Hole19 HQ we have no fewer than 4 different putting styles amongst us. It really all comes down to personal preference which can only be discovered through trial and error.
Next time you head out for a practice round why not try rotating between putter grip styles, eliminating the options as you go. By the end of the round you'll hopefully have an idea of which definitely won't work and which are worth pursuing further.
