If you've been golfing for more than 5-minutes odds are you've heard this several dozen times. It's on repeat in clubhouses everywhere for a good reason; a big drive may draw the odd "baba booey" from the gallery but it's on the green where tournaments are won and the money is earned.
You may not play a lot of rounds where millions of dollars are at stake, but keeping that putts-per-round average down is the key to low scoring.
