Montreal: Combining the Old with the Modern

Montreal

It is the second most populated city in Canada, being considered one of the most vibrant in all of North America. Montreal is the city of design, festivals, arts and cuisine, combining the old with the modern.

You can stroll through the historic city center - the Vieux-Montréal - considered the most charming area of the city. This is where you will find two of the main tourist attractions, Notre Dame Cathedral and Place d'Armes. Another must-visit is Montreal's Old Port, where you can watch a stunning sunset.

The city's connection to nature is evident in urban parks such as Mont-Royal or the Botanical Garden, which is the second-largest botanical garden in the world. The Olympic Stadium is also a mandatory visit along with its 175-meter tower, the largest leaning tower on the planet. Be sure to take in an ice hockey game, the national sport, or simply take the chance to go skating in one of the city's many rinks.

Montreal is one of TAP Airline's new 2020 destinations, with flights starting on May 23. Six weekly flights are planned to this spectacular Canadian city.

Golf in Montreal

Club de Golf Saint Hyacinthe

The golf course offers narrow terrain which requires both precision and strategy from the tee. Five holes which dogleg to the right will certainly definitely favour players taking the same trajectory with their tee shots. To be successful, you must especially take advantage of the par-5s (holes 5 and 13), because you will certainly encounter pitfalls on the difficult par-3s (holes 3, 7 and 14).

In addition to being long, these holes are well protected by sand traps and, just to increase the difficulty level, the 7th green is very narrow!

Club de Golf de L'Ile de Montreal (The Ireland)

The Ireland Course is a good reflection of the personality and character of course designer Pat Ruddy and his country of origin. The par 71 spans 6820 yards of greenery and dunes, and plays like an Irish links, making the track unique in Canada.

The course will appeal to high calibre players in particular, with its three double greens, of gigantic dimensions, testifying to the original character of Irish links courses. In addition, five tee boxes allow golfers to play according to their level.

Club de Golf de L'Épiphanie

Club de Golf de L'Epiphanie has everything a golfer could ever need: ideal drainage, motorized carts at all times, numerous century-old pines, multiple floral arrangements, exceptional fairway and green quality. This par 72 is 6700 yards long from the tips with an option of 5 different tees to satisfy every sill level.
