The Open 2017: Highlights

Congratulations to Jordan Spieth on lifting the claret jug...anyone else think he was done for after his collapse at the 13th? There aren't many in the game that can pull themselves back together after coming undone like that, a pretty impressive display of his mental toughness!

Birkdale, not to mention the traditional British summer, was as challenging as ever for the pros. But this just made the great golf all the more spectacular. Here are some of the highlights from a memorable Open weekend:

Round 1 - the first in a tale of 2 rounds for Rory as Spieth makes a great start.

Round 2 - Rory continues is back 9 form on what was a changeable day for the leaderboard.

Round 3 - featuring the record breaking round from Branden Grace.

Round 4 - an amazing round of 63 from Li Haotong was the talk of the clubhouse on the closing day.
