Back in June, a gang of US-based golfers hopped on a TAP flight to spend a few days in the Portuguese sun and sample the best golf courses the country has to offer. Patrick Koenig, a golf photographer and founder of the RGV Tour was joined on the trip by Brodie Smith, Blair Wheeler and Ben Boskovich.

After their smooth flight with TAP Air Portugal the first stop on this golfing adventure of a lifetime was the stunning Oitavos Dunes in Quinta da Marinha. The golf course ranks within the top 20 in Europe and offers a true golfing challenge on a championship-standard facility.

Next up was Dom Pedro Golf in Vilamoura with its five separate golf courses to choose from, followed by a picturesque nine hole facility at Pine Cliffs and the tricky test offered up by Lisbon Sports Club on the northern outskirts of the capital.
