If you're looking to improve your golfing performance, as well as having your trusty Hole19 app at the ready, bagging a new driver in 2019 could be the difference between a good year and a great one.
Trying to decide between the best drivers on the market can be a difficult task so we have turned to some guys in the know to help us along.
Whether you're a low-handicapper or an improving golfer, you'll be wondering which drivers are the best on the market that you could be considering this year. Let's have a look at the main contenders.
Callaway Epic Flash
Coming out with a full house of 20/20 stars in the 2019 Golf Digest Hot List, undoubtedly this is one of the best drivers of the year. To use their own words, the team at Callaway have used "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to create a radically different face design to promote faster ball speed in the centre region of the face."

One of the first 2019 driver releases was the TaylorMade M5 & M6 with everyone from Dustin Johnson to Rory McIlroy to Tiger Woods queueing up to tell us how great they are. Each of those three men has managed to win in 2019, so that speaks volumes for the two driver options.
The guys and girls at TaylorMade promised us all that we would see increased ball speed improvements in our own golf game. The tagline 'Everybody Gets Faster' caught the eye of many golfers, but it wasn't necessarily the case for Rick Shiels when he tested both drivers. With that said, outside of this, both drivers performed exceptionally well.

Cobra King F9 Speedback
The Cobra King F9 Speedback was released to great fanfare back on the 18th January and has received many positive reviews since. The team at Cobra state that it's the first driver of its kind to achieve true optimisation of aerodynamics combined with a low centre of gravity.

The Titleist TS2 and TS3 have been engineered to deliver faster ball speed with higher launch, lower spin and increased MOI for more distance and forgiveness. Seemingly, there's plenty to like about these newest 'big sticks'.

With the massive amount of golf manufacturers out there, it would be very easy to overlook Mizuno but in recent years they have developed some great golf clubs.
The ultra-fast forged face now boasts a lighter CORTECH structure which is designed to deliver higher ball speed.

Ping G410 Plus
After the success of last year's Ping G400 and G400 Max drivers, it was always going to be a tough ask to see significant improvements in this year's options. Ping have said their Ping G410 Plus and SFT drivers offer substantial advancements in custom fitting while increasing both forgiveness and ball speed.
